EA4P are delighted to be part of a group in Edinburgh hosting the
Festival of Palestine, for one week only, starting on 9th October until 16th October.
Central to the Festival is an exhibition of the Palestinian History Tapestry panels, exhibited in mixed media. The panels were all made by hand exclusively by Palestinian women in Gaza, West Bank, Jerusalem, Naqab, Jordan and Lebanon, celebrating 4000 years of Palestine history.
The exhibition will take place at St Columba’s-by-the Castle Episcopal Church, and will be open to the public between 11AM-4PM every day (except Sunday 2-4 pm). Entry is free, however booking is necessary for the launch event (11-1PM) on 9th of October.
Throughout the week there will also be live traditional music & dabke dancing, food, film shows, award winning photographic exhibition, lectures and children’s activities. See the full programme for times & dates.

There will also be a lecture by Tariq Ali about Edward Said in The Royal Society in Edinburgh. Seats were limited due to Coronavirus restrictions, but the lecture will be broadcast live on line.

Throughout the Festival Covid 19 rules will be closely adhered to.
